This manual-ranging meter is capable of voltage, current, hEF, continuity, resistance, temperature and diode testing, giving technicians a comprehensive set of measurement functions in a single handheld unit. DC voltage ranges span 200mV, 2V, 20V, 200V and 600V, while AC voltage is covered at 200V and 600V. DC current ranges extend from 2mA and 20mA through 200mA to 10A. Resistance measurement is available across five ranges: 200Ω, 2kΩ, 20kΩ, 200kΩ and 2MΩ. The temperature range covers -20°C to 1000°C via the included temperature probe, making it suitable for a broad spectrum of thermal measurement tasks. A backlit LCD screen ensures legibility in poor lighting conditions, whilst the data hold function allows readings to be frozen for convenient recording. The continuity buzzer provides an immediate audible indication without the need to monitor the display. Auto power off helps to conserve battery life during busy working sessions. The meter measures 150mm x 74mm x 43mm and weighs approximately 233g. Supplied complete with test leads, a temperature probe and one PP3 9V battery, the Draper 41818 is ready to use straight from the box.
