The Sealey PPX Auto Probe Plus is a 6-24V diagnostic test probe designed for auto electricians and mechanics, combining an integral worklight to illuminate dark working areas with an audible circuit tester for use when the LED cannot be directly seen. The PPX carries out polarity tests, detects short circuits, and locates bad earths quickly. It powers up components prior to fitting including cooling fan motors, fuel pumps, window and sunroof motors, relays, lamps, and wiper motors and tests continuity in switches, diodes, fuses, relays, and wiring harnesses. Fitted with a sensitive short circuit protection device, the PPX is safe to use around a vehicle's electronic management systems. The power switch self-test feature removes the need to double-check circuits on the vehicle battery, reconnect hook-up clips to test polarity, search for earth points, or risk burning out fuses when locating faults. Compatible with systems from 6V up to 24V.
