The Draper Expert 48216 Digital Circuit Tester addresses this with an easy-to-read LCD digital display, allowing technicians to identify voltage presence and levels quickly and accurately across DC systems. The tester operates across a voltage range of 6 to 48V DC, making it suitable for testing on a wide variety of vehicle electrical systems. The earth connection is made via an insulated crocodile clip, and the probe measures 90mm in length. The cable extends to 3.6 metres (approximately 12ft), providing sufficient reach across most engine bays and vehicle undersides without repositioning the earth connection. Compatibility covers most vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, trailers, boats and agricultural machinery. This breadth of application makes the tester a practical addition to any professional workshop or field service kit. The unit weighs 0.171kg. Important: this tester is designed for DC circuits within the stated voltage range only. It is not suitable for testing mains supply AC circuits.
