Accurate site and workshop measurements demand a reliable tape that withstands the rigours of daily use, and the Draper 83490 Measuring Tape is built to deliver exactly that. The tough, impact-resistant ABS case features a soft-grip finish for secure handling, with blade locking buttons positioned on both the side and base for one-handed convenience during measurement tasks. The hold and measure buttons allow the user to lock the tape in position for accurate readings whilst the button on the base controls the speed of blade return preventing snap-back damage. The self-aligning end hook ensures very accurate internal and external measurements making it suitable for a wide range of construction and groundworks applications. The nylon-coated matt-finished steel blade carries clear black and red graduations marked in metres subdivided into centimetres and millimetres as well as feet subdivided into inches including 1/8"" and 1/16"" divisions. Stud centre markings are provided every 16"" for efficient framing and studwork layout. The tape is manufactured to EC Class II Accuracy. Supplied in countertop displays.
