Accurate site and workshop measurements demand a reliable blade lock and a hook that registers true — the Draper 82818 Soft Grip Measuring Tape delivers both. The triple lock blade function secures the extended blade at the front, side and bottom simultaneously, holding the tape firmly at any measured length, while the integrated belt clip keeps the tape accessible on the job. The 19 mm nylon-coated blade carries clear black and red graduations on both sides covering metric and imperial scales: metres divided into centimetres and millimetres and feet divided into inches with 1/8"" and 1/16"" resolution. Stud centre markings appear every 16"" supporting standard timber-frame and plasterboard layouts without the need for calculation. The hard-wearing yellow protective cover resists the knocks of daily site use. The self-aligning end hook provides consistently accurate internal and external measurements by compensating automatically for its own thickness. The tape is manufactured to EC Class II Accuracy confirming conformance to recognised measurement standards. The unit is display packed and includes one measuring tape.
