A further button on the base governs the speed of blade return, giving the operator full control during use. The 7.5m/25ft blade is manufactured from nylon-coated matt-finished steel and carries clear black and red graduations in metres divided into centimetres and millimetres as well as feet divided into inches with 1/8"" and 1/16"" subdivisions. Stud centre markings appear every 16"" a practical aid for timber-frame construction and partition layout work. The self-aligning end hook delivers accurate internal and external measurements consistently across repeated use. Manufactured to EC Class II Accuracy these tapes meet a recognised European standard for measuring instrument precision. The 25mm blade width provides good rigidity and stand-out.
