The SIP STARTMASTER DSC350B (03586) is a wheel-mounted digital starter charger rated to 350Ah battery capacity, designed for charging and boosting a wide variety of lead acid and Lithium-Ion battery types across 12v and 24v applications. Built for automotive, agricultural and engineering workshop environments, it is equally suited to boost-start and charging duties on commercial vehicle batteries.
At the heart of the DSC350B is an intelligent microprocessor that runs a 10-step automatic charging cycle, automatically diagnosing battery condition and voltage before commencing a charge. Battery auto-detect intelligently recognises whether the connected battery is 12v or 24v prior to beginning any charging or boosting cycle. Low 1v detection improves the chances of recovering deeply discharged batteries, while an Alternator Test mode indicates alternator working condition before charging or boosting is applied. Compatible battery types include WET, MF, EFB, GEL, AGM, CA and 12v LiFePO4 (4-cell Lithium-Ion), making the STARTMASTER DSC350B one of the most versatile units in the professional workshop context.
Charging current ranges from 5A to 20A on continuous input (1,400W / 5A, 230v 50Hz), with a boost charging current of 35A available for up to five minutes. For jump-start duties, the unit draws 7.5kW / 32A for up to five seconds, delivering a maximum start current of 400A on a fully discharged battery or 300A on a medium-charged battery, through a 200A fuse. The unit operates within an ambient temperature range of 0°C to 20°C and carries an IP20 protection rating. Safety is addressed through an anti-spark system, reverse polarity protection, overcharge protection, and an overheat alarm that automatically restarts the unit once it has cooled. An LED display screen and soft-touch control panel simplify operation, and single-person use is supported for engine boost-starts. The wheel-mounted chassis with pull handle ensures outstanding mobility around the workshop.
The SIP STARTMASTER DSC350B is covered by the SIP 2-Year Standard Silver Warranty. A 230v (13A) plug is recommended for charging use and a 230v (32A) plug for jump-start use; neither is supplied. Two 2-metre leads with clip clamps are included.
