Workshop dust and chip extraction demands a unit capable of handling both fine particles and larger fragments without interruption. The Draper 80947 Portable Dust/Chip Extractor addresses this with a 2200W motor delivering an air flow of 65m³/min and a 300-litre capacity, making it well suited to sustained use in professional workshop environments. The extractor is designed for attachment to most static workshop machines, including bandsaws, table saws, scroll saws, planers and sanders. Three 100mm outlets allow simultaneous extraction from up to three ports, reducing the need to re-connect between machines. A no-volt switch is fitted as standard, protecting against unintended restart after a power interruption. Filtration is provided by 5-micron canvas filter bags, supplied with the unit alongside transparent collection bags. The bag dimensions are 500mm diameter by 850mm height. The unit draws 16A and is fitted with approximately 2.0 metres of cable; note that no plug is supplied. Total weight is 59kg.Manoeuvrability across the workshop floor is assisted by a base trolley fitted with four swivel castors, allowing the unit to be repositioned without lifting. The Draper 80947 is supplied as a complete unit ready for installation into an existing workshop dust extraction circuit.
