FAQs

Three matches: (1) connector type — Euro-pattern (the European standard, fits most modern MIG welders), or brand-specific patterns (Binzel, Tweco, Lincoln, etc. on some specific welders); (2) torch current rating — must equal or exceed the welder's maximum current output; (3) cable length — typical 3m, 4m, 5m. The connector pattern is the critical match — wrong connector type cannot be fitted. The connector pattern is listed on every torch product page; check the original torch's connector or the welder's specification.

Match by wire size and wire material. Wire size: 0.6mm, 0.8mm, 0.9mm (US 0.030 inch), 1.0mm, 1.2mm — must exactly match the wire being fed. Wire material: V-groove rollers for solid steel wire (the most common); knurled rollers for flux-cored wire (the knurling grips the soft outer flux); U-groove rollers for aluminium wire (deeper groove, smoother surface to avoid wire deformation). Many MIG welders accept twin-roller pairs that mount on a feeder shaft — match the bore and width to the feeder.

Match the tungsten by application: 2% thoriated (red-tip) — long-established general-purpose, suited to DC-positive welding of steel and stainless; 2% lanthanated (blue-tip) — modern alternative, good arc stability across DC and AC, less radiation than thoriated; 2% ceriated (orange-tip) — easy starting, good low-current stability; pure tungsten (green-tip) — used for AC TIG of aluminium (forms a balled tip when run on AC). Match the diameter to the welding current — typical 1.6mm for low currents, 2.4mm for general work, 3.2mm+ for high currents.

Yes. Replacement welding cables (matched by current rating — 25mm² for typical 200A welders, 35mm² for 250-350A, 50mm² for 400A+), replacement dinse-plug connections (the standard quick-connect plug between cable and welder — DIX pattern is widely standard), replacement electrode holders (rated to the welder's current), replacement earth clamps (with strong jaw spring and cable-grip terminal), and replacement gas hoses (left-hand thread for argon and inert-gas; right-hand for oxygen) are available across the welding accessory range. Search by the welder model or WhatsApp 07754288583.

Every product is backed by our Fit Guarantee. If a part is incompatible with your machine, you can return it hassle-free. For damaged-on-arrival items, report within 24 hours with photographs to [email protected] — we will arrange collection. For other returns, email us first to obtain a Return Merchandise Number before sending. Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase, in original packaging, on UK orders. A restocking fee may apply on returns where the buyer has changed their mind. Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the return is inspected.

Delivery time depends on the product, your destination, and availability — the estimated time for any item appears on the product page, and "Check where we deliver" confirms coverage for your postcode before you order. Next-day delivery is available on most products; the option appears at checkout when applicable. We deliver across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Use the country selector at checkout to confirm coverage and delivery options for your destination.

Within Spare Accessories, Welding Accessories covers the consumable and replacement parts used with workshop welding equipment — covering replacement MIG torches and torch parts, MIG wire-feed rollers and liners, TIG torch parts (collets, gas cups, tungsten electrodes), MMA electrode holders and earth clamps, welding cables and connections, gas hoses and gas-line fittings, replacement transformer parts and rectifier components, and the wider range of consumables and replacement parts used to maintain MIG, TIG, MMA, and oxy-fuel welding equipment.

Parts for Machines supplies welding accessories across the trade and professional ranges. The category overlaps with the dedicated Welding Consumables & Accessories sub-section under Parts & Spares, with the difference that this sub-section sits within Power Tools and groups the welding-equipment service parts and consumables alongside the welding machines themselves.

We are an authorised distributor and seller of Sealey, SIP, and Clarke across the welding accessories range. Sealey and SIP cover the broadest selection — MIG torches and torch service parts (Euro-pattern and brand-specific patterns), MIG wire-feed rollers (matched by wire size and material), TIG torch consumables (collets, gas cups, back caps, tungsten electrodes), MMA electrode holders and earth clamps, welding cables and dinse-plug connections, and gas hoses and regulators. Clarke extends the range with workshop and home-shop variants.

Product pages list the accessory type (torch, wire-feed roller, electrode holder, cable, hose, etc.), the equipment compatibility (the welder model or family the accessory fits — many welding accessories are vendor-specific by physical fitment), the dimensions (cable size, hose length, torch length, etc.), the rated capacity (cable current rating; torch current rating), and any specific certifications. Trade pricing on bulk and trade-pack orders is available; contact the team via WhatsApp 07754288583.
