Worn or leaking airline couplings reduce airflow and slow workshop productivity. The PCL AC71CM is an XF-Euro series quick-release coupling with a male R 1/4 thread, manufactured in Sheffield since 1938 as part of the HORNGROUP. The XF-Euro series is designed to deliver excellent flow characteristics, providing the workshop with increased airflow when required and enhancing tool efficiency. The AC71CM features hardened steel construction with a corrosion-resistant finish for extended service life, and a steel shoulder that prevents accidental disconnection during use. A blue PCL silicone band provides clear identification, protection, and ease of handling. Each coupling is date-stamped for traceability and quality performance monitoring. The series is also compatible with XF-Euro Adaptors. As an XF-Euro series coupling, the AC71CM carries the full series ratings: a nominal bore of 7.4 mm, a flow rate of 2,200 l/min at 6 bar, a maximum working pressure of 35 bar (508 psi), and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 100°C. The XF-Euro profile is widely interchangeable, being compatible with Rectus 25/26, CEJN 320/326 and 320/326 eSafe, Legris 25/26, JWL 510 through 570, Tema 1600/1625, Norgren 234/238, Schrader Intercheck 35, Parker 35, Prevost ESC/ERC/ESI/ISC 07, OETIKER SC C, Hanson Auto-Flo 24, Kee 072/075, and Ludecke ES/ESI/ESI*/ESIS/ESIS*/ESPN profiles.
