Loose or mismatched airline connections cause air loss and disrupt workflow. The PCL AC21CM is the Airflow series quick-release coupling in male R 1/4 thread — manufactured in Sheffield since 1938 and designed for fixed compressed air applications where a single-action connection is preferred.
The AC21CM is constructed from steel for robust, hard-wearing service in engineering and workshop environments. It features a positive locking mechanism and a British Standard profile, making it compatible with Standard Adaptors. Each coupling is date-stamped for traceability and quality performance, and carries a blue PCL silicone band for identification, protection, and ease of use.
The Airflow series carries a nominal bore of 4.8 mm and delivers a flow rate of 43 cfm at 100 psi. Maximum working pressure is 14 bar (200 psi), and the operating temperature range spans -40°C to 100°C. The AC21CM is compatible with Rectus 19, Kee 057 Series, OETIKER SC Series P, and Ludecke ESB interchange fittings.
