Cutting curved profiles in sheet metal with a straight-blade cutter is slow, imprecise, and often results in distorted edges that need further finishing work. The Sealey DC16 sheet metal disc cutter is designed for bench mounting and overcomes these limitations with a deep throat and small cutting disc that allows tighter curves to be cut than traditional straight blade cutters can achieve. The cutter is built from 8mm plate steel and handles steel sheet up to 16 gauge. A ratchet action cutter blade delivers controlled, repeatable cuts, making the DC16 well suited to car restoration work as well as general workshop use. The bench-mounting design keeps the tool stable and both hands free to guide the workpiece accurately.
