The SIP 01526 10" Vari-Speed Swivel Head Metal Bandsaw is a powerful and accurate auto-cutting bandsaw designed for cutting bar, tube and profile workpieces across a wide range of metal types, including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass and alloys. Running on a standard 230V (13A) single-phase supply with a 1.1kW (1.5hp) motor, it is built for professional metal fabrication and engineering workshops.
The machine is equipped with a variable speed inverter motor control paired with a direct drive motor gearbox transmission, delivering a continuously adjustable blade speed range from 0 to 90 metres per minute. This allows the operator to match cutting speed precisely to the material in hand. The heavy-duty cast iron swivel bow head enables angular cuts at preset positions of 0°, 30°, 45° and 60°, while the semi-automatic cut-down function and adjustable cast iron vice support consistent, repeatable results. Enhanced safety features are incorporated throughout the design.
A built-in coolant system aids blade life and cut quality during sustained use. Blade size is 2450mm x 27mm x 0.9mm. Cutting capacity at 0° reaches 220mm circle, 200mm square and 260mm x 140mm rectangle, reducing progressively through the swivel angles to 100mm circle and 100mm square at 60°.
