The SIP 01949 6" Heavy-Duty Belt Linisher is a 3kW, 400V three-phase machine designed for removing sharp edges and burrs from workpieces and finishing metalwork products. Built for trade and professional applications, it is suited to cleaning, grinding and finishing of products, tubes and profiles in metals including mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel.
Heavy-duty construction with a pedestal stand makes this linisher well suited to demanding workshop environments. A long-lasting zirconium bonded belt ensures consistent material removal across a broad range of metals, including stainless steel. Three-point belt access — on the wheel, at the platen top, and across the full platen — increases versatility considerably, while a quick belt release handle and easy-access side panel allow fast belt changing. Belt tracking is maintained via an adjusting knob that keeps the belt running straight and true. Adjustable eye protection and an NVR switch are incorporated for increased user safety.
The linisher delivers precise, controllable results through several adjustable mechanisms. An adjustable tool support offers accurate positioning of the workpiece and easy angle adjustment, and the linishing head tilt accommodates varying material lengths and sizes. The belt runs at 34 metres per second across a 2000mm x 150mm P80 zirconium bonded belt, with a contact wheel of 200mm x 150mm and a steering roller of 225mm x 150mm. Flat grinding height is 530mm, and working height adjusts between 475mm and 1240mm at the contact wheel.
