The SIP FIREBALL IDX54 Industrial Infrared Diesel Heater (09241A) is a 16kW diesel-fuelled infrared heater designed to quickly and effectively heat well-ventilated warehouses, commercial spaces and large workshops. Running on a standard 230V (13A) supply, it delivers a maximum heat output of 54,594BTU/hr and is capable of heating an approximate area of 373mtr³ (13,321ft³).
Unlike conventional warm-air heaters, the FIREBALL IDX54 uses infrared technology to heat objects, people and surfaces directly rather than simply warming the surrounding air. This approach distributes heat more evenly and efficiently across a workspace. An integrated thermostat provides flexible temperature control, whilst enhanced safety features offer greater user protection during operation.
The heater is supplied with a 3-piece stainless steel flue kit to safely carry exhaust fumes away from the work area — an important consideration for enclosed industrial environments. Mobility is provided by a wheel-mounted design with lockable castors, allowing the unit to be repositioned as operational requirements change. Approximate fuel consumption is 1.18kg/hr to 1.45kg/hr of diesel.
