The SIP FIREBALL IDX44 Industrial Infrared Diesel Heater (09236A) is a 13kW infrared diesel heater designed to quickly and effectively heat well-ventilated warehouses, commercial spaces and large workshops. Running on diesel fuel and supplied with a 3-piece stainless steel flue kit, it is built for demanding industrial heating applications where reliable, directed heat output is essential.
Unlike conventional warm-air heaters, infrared technology heats objects, people and surfaces directly rather than simply warming the surrounding air. This approach distributes heat more evenly and efficiently across the workspace. The IDX44 delivers a maximum heat output of 44,357BTU/hr (13kW) and features an integrated thermostat for flexible temperature control. A wheel-mounted design with lockable castors allows the unit to be repositioned as required, while enhanced safety features provide greater user protection during operation.
The IDX44 operates on a 230V (13A) single-phase supply and runs on diesel fuel with an approximate fuel consumption of 0.95kg/hr to 1.14kg/hr. The approximate heating area covered is 303m³ (10,812ft³), making it well suited to large industrial and commercial environments where sustained, high-output heating is required.
