  • Q 1. What is the delivery time?

    A. Standard UK delivery is 3–5 working days.

  • Q 2. Are delivery charges included in the product price?

    A. No, delivery charges are calculated separately at checkout based on order weight, size, and delivery location.

  • Q 3. Where can I learn more about choosing the right undercarriage product for my machine?

    A. We’ve prepared a detailed guide on our Blogs & Insights Tab which explains step-by-step how to select the correct tracks and other undercarriage parts.
Finding the Perfect Fit: How to Identify the Correct Track Size

  • Q 1. What exact dimensions do I need to identify my rubber track?

    A. You need Width × Pitch × Links (e.g., 300×52.5×86). Width is the track width (mm); pitch is the center-to-center distance between drive lugs; links are the total number of lugs around the track. Check the size stamped inside the track or measure it directly.

  • Q 2. What’s inside a quality rubber track?

    A. Premium tracks use continuous/spiral steel cords embedded in the rubber carcass (often with forged steel cores on CTL tracks). Spiral/continuous cords improve uniform tensile strength and reduce weak overlap points.

  • Q 3. What is the primary wear/failure indicators?

    A. Cracks/cuts or missing rubber chunks, exposed/broken cords, frequent de-tracking, and length stretch/uneven lug wear are typical signs that a track is at end-of-life.

  • Q 4. Measurement tips when no size is stamped ?

    A. Measure width on the outside tread, pitch between lug center’s (not edges), and count all lugs/links. Convert inches ↔ mm if needed (1″ = 25.4 mm). Provide these three numbers to match correctly.

  • Q 5. Do rubber tracks affect fuel efficiency or machine performance?

    A. Yes, well-fitted tracks improve traction, reduce slippage, and make the machine more fuel-efficient. Worn tracks increase operating costs and reduce performance.

  • Q 6. What types of links are used in rubber tracks, and how do they differ?

    A. Rubber tracks are built with different link (drive lug) designs, which affect how they fit the sprocket, how strong they are, and what machines they suit:

    • K-Type Links: Wide and heavy duty, designed for larger excavators and compact track loaders where maximum strength is needed.
    • N-Type Links: Narrower and rounded, common on mini excavators for smoother operation and reduced vibration.
    • M-Type Links: A medium-width option that balances strength and smooth running, often used in mid-sized machines.
    • V-Type Links: V-shaped lugs that help the sprocket teeth self-center, reducing the risk of de-tracking.
    • A-Type Links: Reinforced for extra grip, used in high-torque applications to prevent slippage.
You can also check your machine’s model and track dimensions, or simply use our Under Carriage Selection Widget Under Carriage Finder to find the right track instantly.
