The Sykes Pickavant 05710100 Adjustable Holder is designed for forming and shaping fillers and metal during body repair work, with a steel tension adjuster and base plate providing reliable, controllable blade pressure across the whole stroke.
The holder is compatible with most flat-profile 356mm body blades, allowing the workshop to standardise on one holder while changing blade grades and tooth patterns to suit the stage of work — coarse for initial shaping, fine for final levelling. Individual replacement blades are available separately.
Construction combines a steel tension adjuster, sole plate, and a tough plastic handle. The handle includes a two-position adjustment allowing the holder to be used in either vertical or horizontal orientation, accommodating different working positions on the panel and allowing both pulling and pushing strokes depending on the operator's preference and access angle.
