Damaged or cross-threaded UNC, UNF, and UNEF fasteners are a common workshop frustration, often requiring costly replacement of components or fasteners when threads become worn or distorted. The Sykes Pickavant UNC/UNF/UNEF Roller Set R36 — 18tpi is a dedicated replacement roller pack that enables professional thread reforming across UNC, UNF, and UNEF thread forms at 18 threads per inch, restoring damaged threads without the need for replacement parts.
The roller set works in conjunction with the Silbertool thread reformer (01423600), into which the rollers are fitted to carry out the reforming operation. The rollers apply controlled pressure to the damaged thread profile, progressively reforming it back to the correct geometry. The roller pack must be used with the compatible thread reformer unit and cannot be used independently.
This pack contains three rollers and covers the R36 specification at 18tpi. The packed dimensions of the set are 50 x 30 x 30 mm and the product weighs 0.085 kg, making it a compact addition to the workshop tool kit. Other roller sizes are available within the Silbertool system for different thread forms and pitches, allowing the thread reformer to be adapted for a range of applications.
