When standard fasteners no longer hold and thread integrity must be restored rather than replaced, a dedicated thread reformer system is the correct solution. This Metric Roller Set from Sykes-Pickavant is designed for use with the Silbertool 01431100 thread reformer, providing the specific roller geometry required to reform metric threads accurately and reliably.
The roller set works in conjunction with the Silbertool 01431100 thread reformer unit. The rollers engage the damaged thread profile and progressively reform it back to its correct geometry without cutting or removing material, preserving the integrity of the parent component.
This set is specified for a pitch of 1.5mm and is compatible with the R60 and R110 roller positions on the Silbertool 01431100. Each pack contains three rollers. The product dimensions are 50 x 50 x 50 mm and the pack weighs 0.357 kg. Other roller sizes are available separately to extend the range of thread pitches that can be addressed with the same reformer tool.
Roller packs must be used with the thread reformer and cannot be operated as standalone tools. Additional size variants are available, allowing workshops to build a comprehensive set of rollers to cover a wider range of metric thread pitches.
