Worn or damaged BSW, BSF, BSPP, and BS threads are a common challenge in workshop environments where older imperial and British standard fasteners remain in service. When threads become deformed through corrosion, cross-threading, or mechanical damage, a dedicated thread reforming solution is required to restore them accurately and efficiently. The Sykes Pickavant BSW/BSF/BSPP/BS Roller Set R16 provides the correct replacement rollers for restoring 16 TPI threads using the Silbertool thread reformer.
The roller set is designed exclusively for use with the Silbertool 01421600 thread reformer. The rollers engage with the damaged thread profile and progressively reform it back to the correct geometry without cutting, preserving as much of the original material as possible.
Each pack contains 3 rollers configured for the R16 specification at 16 threads per inch, covering BSW, BSF, BSPP, and BS thread forms. The compact pack dimensions are 53 x 15 x 17 mm and the total weight is 0.019 kg, making storage and handling straightforward in a busy workshop setting.
Other roller sizes are available for the Silbertool 01421600 thread reformer, allowing the tool to be used across a broader range of thread pitches and standards as workshop requirements demand.
These rollers are a direct consumable replacement, ensuring the thread reformer continues to perform to specification when rollers reach the end of their service life.
