The adaptor is designed to engage with M10 x 1.0 pitch glowplug ports, allowing compatible extraction or installation tooling to work accurately within the thread aperture. The M10 x 1.0 thread specification is a fine-pitch size commonly found on diesel engines from manufacturers including Audi, BMW, Citroen, Dacia, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Nissan, Opel/Vauxhall, Peugeot, Renault, Rover, Seat, Skoda, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo.
