The Sykes Pickavant UNC/UNF/UNEF Roller Set R36 – 9tpi provides the correct replacement rollers for reforming UNC, UNF, and UNEF threads at 9 threads per inch, allowing technicians to restore damaged threads without resorting to costly fastener replacement.
These roller sets are designed exclusively for use with the Silbertool thread reformer, reference 01423600. The rollers work within the reformer mechanism to re-form thread profiles, rolling the material back into its correct geometry rather than cutting away metal. This non-destructive approach preserves fastener and bore integrity where thread damage is not severe enough to warrant replacement.
Each pack contains 3 rollers and is supplied in a compact format measuring 50 x 30 x 30 mm, with a total pack weight of 0.085 kg. The R36 designation and 9tpi specification ensure compatibility with the corresponding thread pitch range within the Silbertool system.
Other roller sizes are available within the Silbertool range, making it possible to build a comprehensive set covering the full spectrum of UNC, UNF, and UNEF thread pitches as required by the workshop.
These rollers must be used in conjunction with the Silbertool 01423600 thread reformer and are not suitable for standalone use.
