Rather than a fixed factory setting, its force is adjustable across 150–2500N and tuned to the load on setup; the 52% progression across the stroke keeps motion smooth from closed to fully open. Built on a 14mm QPQ rod in a 27mm powder-coated body, it carries panel weights of 100–350kg per balanced pair and operates across −30°C to +80°C, supplied at maximum force unless otherwise specified. It is used on seat bases, under-bed boxes, display lids, counter hatches and other lift-and-hold panels. A threaded end fitting screws onto the rod while a mounting bracket carries the body end, and struts are fitted in pairs for an even, two-sided action that stays put when released. Within the range, its nearest stroke options are NS-V-14-350 and NS-V-14-500; the MLT-14-400 locking tube holds it open; the MPT-14-400 tube shields the rod; a 316 stainless equivalent is available as NS-SS-V-14-400. Every strut is guaranteed for two years, and custom strokes and forces are available on request.
