Variations
Air hose assemblies that are too short, too stiff, or fitted with incompatible ends slow workshop throughput and create unnecessary re-work. The PCL HA2045 is a 15-metre hose assembly built around 10 mm (3/8 in) internal-diameter hose, fitted at both ends with Rp 1/4 swivel connections — supplied as a ready-to-install unit that eliminates the need for site crimping.
The hose is manufactured from a high-performance TPE compound that gives the appearance and handling of rubber without the associated drawbacks of natural or SBR rubber. The swivel end fittings allow rotation during installation and in service, reducing stress at the connection points and easing routing around equipment.
The assembly is supplied in cut lengths complete with swivel end fittings, saving installation time and removing the requirement for specialist crimping tooling on site. The Rp 1/4 thread is a parallel internal (female) pipe thread suited to standard workshop compressed-air fittings and manifold ports.
