The Draper 34744 HSS bi-metal holesaw blade is a heavy-duty, variable pitch design suited to cutting wood, steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, aluminium and plastic, with a maximum cutting depth of 35mm (1-3/8"). The blade is constructed with a hardened M3 steel cutting edge welded to a tough alloy steel body. This welded bi-metal construction is inherently durable and hardwearing, and reduces the risk of shattering during use. Four side slots are incorporated to assist slug removal and keep the cutting path clear, while a female threaded spindle accepts a 9.5mm arbor for quick, secure mounting. The holesaw attaches readily to power drills, delivering a fast, clean, heavy-duty cutting action even in stubborn materials. When undertaking metal cutting, using a lubricant is advisable to prolong service life — Draper Stock No. 76109 Metal Cutting Lubricant (400ml) is recommended for this purpose. Supplied as a single 21mm HSS bi-metal holesaw blade.
