The Draper 41070 HSS bi-metal holesaw blade is a variable pitch design rated for cutting wood, steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, aluminium and plastic to a maximum depth of 35mm (1-3/8"). The blade is constructed with a hardened M3 steel cutting edge welded to a tough alloy steel body. This bi-metal construction distributes cutting stress across the assembly, reducing the risk of shattering during demanding cuts. The variable pitch tooth geometry supports a fast, clean cutting action across a range of materials. Four side slots are incorporated to aid slug removal and keep the cut clear during operation. The blade features a female threaded spindle compatible with a 9.5mm arbor, allowing straightforward attachment to a power drill. When cutting metal, the use of a suitable cutting lubricant is advisable to prolong service life. The blade cuts a 20mm diameter hole and is sold individually.
