Mouse detail sanders are designed to reach corners and edges that larger sanders cannot, yet consistent abrasive performance depends on a sheet that holds its cut without premature breakdown. Draper 42616 detail sanding sheets are manufactured from premium quality aluminium oxide abrasive, resin bonded to the substrate for improved grain adhesion and extended sheet life. The anti-static construction reduces dust clogging, helping the abrasive surface remain productive for longer throughout each sanding pass. The sheets feature a heavy-duty E-Weight backing paper that provides the rigidity and durability needed for demanding material removal and finishing tasks. Five pre-punched 8 mm holes are positioned to align with the dust extraction ports of compatible sanders, channelling abraded particles away from the work surface for a cleaner working environment. The hook and loop attachment system allows fast sheet changes without tools, minimising downtime between grits or when replacing a worn sheet. At 240 grit, these sheets are suited to fine sanding and finishing work across wood, metal, aluminium alloy, painted surfaces, plastic and fillers. The 140 mm format is compatible with Draper and other manufacturers' mouse detail sanders. Each pack contains ten sheets, supplied with hook and loop backing for direct fitment to compatible E-Weight hook and loop sanding pads.
