Workshop sanding and finishing tasks demand abrasive consumables that resist clogging and maintain cutting performance over extended use. These gold sanding discs address that requirement through a combination of aluminium oxide abrasive and a calcium stearate treatment, resin bonded to the disc to deliver self-sharpening action and anti-clogging performance throughout the working life of each disc. The heavy-duty D-Weight backing paper reinforces each disc to withstand demanding applications, while the hook and loop backing system provides firm adhesion to the sander pad and allows fast disc changes without tools or delay. Six pre-punched 8mm dust extraction holes are positioned across each disc to channel abraded material away from the work surface during use, maintaining surface visibility and reducing airborne dust. Each disc measures 150mm in diameter and is supplied at 240 grit, making this pack suited to sanding and finishing wood, metals including ferrous alloys, painted surfaces, varnish, plastic and fillers. The discs are compatible with all 150mm random orbit sanders fitted with a hook and loop backing pad, including Draper Stock Nos. 65084, 83942 and 84125. Supplied as a pack of 10 discs. The aluminium oxide abrasive material is resin bonded to the D-Weight backing paper for consistent performance across all ten discs in the pack.
