These 150mm gold sanding discs from Draper address that challenge through a combination of aluminium oxide abrasive and a special calcium stearate treatment, which is resin bonded to the disc to deliver self-sharpening and anti-clogging performance across extended use. The discs are mounted on heavy-duty D-Weight backing paper, which provides the durability required to withstand demanding material removal tasks. The hook and loop backing system offers reliable adhesion to compatible sanding pads while allowing fast disc changes without tools or adhesive residue, keeping workflow efficient on busy jobs. Six pre-punched 8mm dust extraction holes are positioned across each disc to improve the evacuation of sanding debris during operation, helping to maintain a cleaner working surface and extend abrasive life. The 120 grit rating makes these discs suited to sanding and finishing a broad range of materials, including wood, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, painted surfaces, varnish, plastic and fillers. Compatible with all 150mm random orbit sanders fitted with a hook and loop backing pad, including Draper Stock Numbers 65084, 83942 and 84125. Supplied as a pack of ten discs.
