Airline connections without proper air treatment allow contaminated, unregulated air to reach tools and equipment, shortening service life and reducing performance. The PCL AFRLC1 is a combined Filter-Regulator-Lubricator (FRL) from PCL's Economy Air Treatment range, fitted with 1/2" ports and calibrated across 0–150 psi / 0–10 bar — designed as a ready-constructed, connect-and-go air treatment system for budget applications.
The AFRLC1 filters inlet air to 40 microns via a polycarbonate bowl assembly, removing particulate contamination before air reaches downstream equipment. A semi-automatic drain valve simplifies bowl maintenance without requiring a full shutdown. The regulator is adjustable from 0 to 8 bar (114 psi), with calibration markings running 0–150 psi / 0–10 bar for straightforward pressure setting. The lubricator bowl holds 110 ml of oil, delivering metered lubrication to air tools in the line.
Technical performance figures from PCL specification: maximum inlet pressure 10 bar, flow rate 1,150 l/min at 5 bar, and an operating temperature range of -10 °C to 60 °C. The 1/2" inlet and outlet connections suit workshop airline installations where 1/2" porting is standard.
