Leaking or unregulated compressed-air supplies damage downstream tools and reduce efficiency. The PCL AFR1 is a filter-regulator from PCL's Economy Air Treatment range, fitted with 1/2 in ports and offering pressure regulation across 0–8 bar / 114 psi with a calibration scale of 0–150 psi / 0–10 bar. It is designed for budget applications where a ready-constructed, connect-and-go air treatment solution is required.
The AFR1 combines filtration and regulation in a single unit. The 40 micron filter element removes particulate contamination from the air supply, protecting pneumatic tools and equipment downstream. Polycarbonate bowls provide a clear view of the filter bowl condition and collected condensate, while the semi-automatic drain valve simplifies maintenance by allowing moisture to be expelled without fully disassembling the unit.
The unit accepts a maximum inlet pressure of 10 bar and delivers a flow rate of 1,654 l/min at 5 bar, making it suitable for workshop airline installations with 1/2 in pipework. The operating temperature range is -10 °C to 60 °C. Port size is 1/2 in on both inlet and outlet.
