Product Number: PCL-EURO-AIR-COUPLING-ADAPTOR-SET
A matched Euro air coupling and adaptor in 1/4 BSP: the PCL XF-Euro AC71CF female coupling and AA7102 male adaptor.
XF-Euro is PCL's high flow series, commonly called Euro couplings, flowing 130 cfm at 100 psi for better tool efficiency. The AC71CF coupling has an Rp 1/4 female thread to fit a hose end or outlet, and the AA7102 adaptor has an R 1/4 male thread to screw into a tool, so one pair converts a line and a tool.
The coupling is hardened steel with a corrosion resistant finish and a steel shoulder that prevents accidental disconnection. Each is date stamped for traceability and has a blue PCL silicone band for identification and protection. The case hardened adaptor is designed and made in Sheffield by PCL.
Both are rated 35 bar (508 psi) from -40°C to 100°C and interchange with Cejn 320/326, Rectus 25/26, Legris 25/26, Norgren 234/238 and Schrader Intercheck 35. Adaptor profiles do not cross over, so an XF-Euro adaptor will not fit a Vertex or Airflow coupling. Identify a coupling by the adaptor that fits it, and keep each workshop line on one profile. Couplings are also called sockets or couplers, and adaptors are known as plugs or nipples.
