A cable tie is a temporary answer to a permanent question - fixed runs need a bolted, lined clip.
JCS describes its P-clips as suited to the most challenging environments, and the PCSH12BG carries that specification at 12mm closed diameter: a TPE160 high-temperature liner rated -50C to +160C, UV and ozone resistant, wrapped in a ribbed band that bolts flush through a 6.6mm M6 fixing hole. Fixings are not supplied - pair it with your standard M6 hardware.
In 304 stainless (18/8, EN 1.4301), this is the version for runs that live outside or around moisture - the liner shrugs off UV and ozone, and the band will not rust where a plated clip eventually would. Dimensions are identical to the zinc version, so the mounting interchange is direct. With the TPE160 liner rated to +160C, it is the version to specify where heat builds - engine compartments, exhaust-adjacent runs and hot plant.
Also available - the standard liner version (PCSR12BG); the zinc plated version (PCZH12BG); the 10mm size (PCSH10BG); the 13mm size (PCSH13BG).
One specification covers pipes, hoses and cables alike - fewer part numbers, tidier stores.

A. P-clips are sized by closed diameter, and this one closes at 12mm - so it suits a pipe, hose or cable with a 12mm outside diameter. Measure the OD, not the bore; non-standard sizes are available from JCS on request. That is approximately 1/2 in, if you work in imperial.
A. The TPE160 high-temperature liner absorbs vibration and prevents chafing of the item being clamped. It is UV and ozone resistant and rated for service from -50C to +160C.
A. Let the temperature decide. Up to +60C, the standard black TPE liner covers it; beyond that - engine compartments, exhaust-adjacent runs, hot plant - the grey TPE160 liner is rated from -50C to +160C.
A. No - fixing nuts and bolts are not supplied. The clip has a 6.6mm hole to suit an M6 bolt.
A. Pick by environment, not fit: 304 stainless for outdoor, wet or corrosive runs, zinc plated (coated even on the cut edges) for general indoor and light industrial work. The two are dimensionally identical, so the mounting never changes.
A. The liner is UV and ozone resistant, so sunlight does not degrade it, and the band comes in zinc plated or 304 stainless for outdoor duty - stainless where it stays wet. Size the clip to the outside diameter of the tube or pipe being fixed.
