At the heart of the CB1000 is a triple-spur geared shaft and pinion, heat treated and ground for durability, housed within a compact gear housing specifically designed to allow use where headroom is limited with a minimum head room of just 383mm. A mechanical load brake is built in for extra safety, and all chains are manufactured from hardened alloy material. Load hooks feature safety latches as standard, and the maximum hook capacity diameter is 40mm with a hook aperture of 27mm. Pulling effort is rated at 284N, and the unit has been test loaded to 1500kg, well above its 1000kg safe working load. Load chain diameter is 6mm.
