The Draper Expert 91860 semi-automatic motorised wheel balancer addresses this directly, combining ease of use with accurate, repeatable results across a broad range of vehicle types. The balancer operates at 200RPM with a fast cycle time of 8 to 10 seconds and achieves a balance accuracy of 1 gram. An auto wheel lock secures the wheel at the correct position after each cycle, and a laser pointer identifies the precise weight placement point on the rim. Static balancing for motorcycle tyres extends the machine's versatility beyond passenger car applications. The unit is suitable for passenger and LGV wheel and tyre combinations and connects via a standard 13 amp plug. Rim capacity runs from 10 to 24 inches in diameter and 1.5 to 20 inches in width. Maximum tyre diameter is 47 inches and maximum tyre width is 36 inches. The machine handles wheels up to 65kg in weight. The balance shaft has a diameter of 40mm, and a calibration weight is supplied. Machine dimensions with the guard open are 1120 x 950 x 1550mm; guard closed, 970 x 770 x 1150mm. Machine weight is 102kg. Supplied complete with wheel rim callipers, wheel weight plier and hammer, four adjustable centring cones covering ranges from 48–60mm up to 89–138mm, four storage pegs with bolts and washers, 5mm and 8mm hex keys, a wheel securing locking wing nut with two adaptors, a balance shaft with fixing bolts, and a safety hood with fixing bolt.
