The Draper 92632 Expert Ultrasonic Cleaning Tank harnesses the cavitation effect generated by high-frequency ultrasonic vibrations transmitted through fluid. These vibrations cause microscopic bubbles to form and implode violently, producing an intense scrubbing action on the surface of items being cleaned — penetrating even the smallest recesses thoroughly and without mechanical contact. Fitted with new high-performance transducers for improved cleaning performance, the tank is operated via an easy-to-use touch screen control panel with LED display. Time settings are adjustable between 1 and 99 minutes, and the temperature can be set anywhere from 0 to 80°C, providing precise control to suit a wide range of cleaning tasks. Ultrasonic power and heating power are each rated at 100W. The tank is extremely effective at removing dirt and grime from watch parts, jewellery (not gemstones), coins, PCB boards and electrical components, and engine, vehicle and mechanical parts. It is suitable for use with water or non-volatile cleaning agents. The tank size measures 240 x 140 x 100mm, with overall dimensions of 270 x 170 x 240mm. Constructed from stainless steel and fitted with a drain tap, the unit is supplied complete with a stainless steel basket and lid.
