The Draper Expert 92635 Ultrasonic Cleaning Tank addresses this by harnessing the cavitation effect: high-frequency ultrasonic vibration signals in fluid cause microscopic bubbles to form and implode violently, generating an intense scrubbing action across every surface — including microscopic crevices that brushes and sprays miss entirely. Fitted with new high-performance transducers for improved cleaning performance, the unit is operated via an easy-to-use touch screen control panel with LED display. The time setting is adjustable from 1 to 99 minutes and the temperature setting ranges from 0 to 80°C, allowing operators to tailor each cleaning cycle to the item at hand. Ultrasonic power is 200W and heating power is 300W. The 9-litre tank measures 300 x 240 x 150mm internally, with overall unit dimensions of 330 x 270 x 310mm. It is suitable for use with water or non-volatile cleaning agents and is effective at removing dirt and grime from watch parts, jewellery (not gemstones), coins, PCB boards and electrical components, and engine, vehicle and mechanical parts. Constructed from stainless steel throughout, the unit is fitted with a drain tap and supplied complete with a stainless steel basket and lid. Note: Before use, always verify that the item to be cleaned is suitable for ultrasonic cleaning.
