The Sealey LS5003 Load Sling addresses this directly: weight for weight, the strap is three to five times stronger than chain alternatives, yet if overload does occur, early detection is possible through the fraying of the straps a safety advantage chains simply cannot offer. Manufactured from 100% high strength polyester with reinforced lifting eyes, this sling is colour-coded red in accordance with European standards for identifying sling capacity. The safe working load is 5000kg in straight configuration and 10000kg in U configuration (load between the loop eyes). At 3m in length, the LS5003 is suited to a wide range of lifting applications where a reliable, rated sling is required.
