Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered, and finished with a polished chrome plate for corrosion protection, the bar is built to withstand the demands of professional workshop use. A knurled ring is incorporated into the body to provide a positive, non-slip grip when positioning the bar by hand. The 1/2 inch square drive wobble end retains the socket securely via a spring-loaded ball bearing, preventing unwanted detachment during use. With a working length of 250 mm, this extension bar suits 1/2 inch square drive sockets and is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 specifications, providing a benchmark of dimensional and performance consistency recognised across the trade. The bar is supplied individually and is part of the Draper Expert range, which is distinguished by its material specification and quality of finish.
