The Draper Expert Extension Bar, 1/2" Sq. Dr., 250mm addresses this directly with a spring-loaded ball bearing mechanism that retains the socket firmly throughout the drive stroke, reducing the risk of the socket dropping away mid-task. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered, chrome plated and polished, the bar combines structural integrity with corrosion resistance suited to regular workshop use. The polished finish not only protects against moisture and chemical exposure but also makes the bar straightforward to clean down after use. A knurled ring is provided along the bar to give the technician a positive, non-slip grip when positioning or withdrawing the tool. The extension bar is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 specifications, providing a recognised quality benchmark for 1/2" square drive tooling. Supplied as a single 250mm extension bar, it is part of the Draper Expert range and is suited to use with any compatible 1/2" square drive socket set.
