The Draper 72170 Impact Extension Bar provides that reach at 150mm, with a 1/2" square drive fitting suited to standard impact-rated socket sets. The bar is forged from chrome vanadium steel then hardened and tempered for strength under the shock loads associated with impact use. A chemical blacking treatment is applied to the finished steel providing a layer of corrosion protection that helps maintain the tool's condition in workshop environments where moisture and contamination are common. A spring-loaded ball bearing is incorporated into the female end of the bar holding sockets securely in place during use and reducing the risk of sockets disengaging mid-operation. This is supplied as a single 150mm extension bar. This extension bar is part of Draper's Expert Quality range denoting the higher specification within the Draper hand tool offering.
