The Draper Expert 16751 Extension Bar is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel, hardened and tempered, then finished with a polished chrome plating that provides corrosion protection across the working life of the tool. A knurled ring is machined into the body of the bar, giving the technician a positive grip surface when positioning or withdrawing the extension in restricted access areas. Socket retention is handled by a spring-loaded ball bearing, which secures the socket firmly on the square drive throughout the fastening or loosening operation and prevents unintended disengagement. The bar accepts a 1/2 inch square drive and has a working length of 125 mm, making it suited to tasks that require moderate reach beyond the ratchet head. It is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 specifications, providing assurance of dimensional and performance consistency. Supplied as a single extension bar.
