Truck and heavy vehicle tyre inflation demands a higher-pressure gauge capable of withstanding the rigours of a busy tyre shop. The PCL AFG5H36 AIRFORCE® MK4 Truck Tyre Inflator meets that requirement with a calibration range of 0–174 psi (0–12 bar), a 3.6 m (12 ft) hose and a twin clip-on tyre valve connector — all built to EN 12645:2014 accuracy standards and manufactured in Sheffield since 1938 as part of the HORNGROUP. The AIRFORCE® MK4 Truck Tyre Inflator carries forward the proven linear gauge format in an aluminium die-cast body weighing 923 g. The biomorphic, ergonomic shape reduces user fatigue and improves drop resistance. A new, larger viewing window provides 20% greater field of view compared to the previous model, while a simplified two-stage valve mechanism removes the need to push against full line pressure during deflation. A new piston and seal design reduces drag and friction to keep operation smooth across repeated use. With a maximum inlet pressure of 218 psi (15 bar), a flow rate of 500 l/min at 13 bar supply, a display resolution of 2 psi / 0.1 bar, and an operating temperature range of −10°C to 60°C, the AFG5H36 is suited to both indoor and outdoor high-pressure inflation work.
