The PCL N72SAIC34 is the NEXUS N72 nitrogen generation and gas delivery cart — a rechargeable, battery-powered portable unit designed for all types of tyre shop and industrial tyre inflation applications. The NEXUS N72 supersedes the original NEXUS range and combines PCL's digital pressure control technology with membrane nitrogen generation technology. The system is 12V battery-powered (7 amp) and can be recharged from mains power at either 110V or 230V, giving genuine freedom of movement around the workshop. PCL state the unit is just half the size of comparable units. The cart operates at a sound level of 65 dBa and employs a 2 x 10% purge-and-fill N2 conversion process. The N72SAIC34 delivers a flow rate of 10 m³/h (167 l/min) at 10 bar, with a minimum input requirement of 16 cfm (452 l/min). Maximum inflation set pressure is 145 psi / 10 bar / 999 kPa, and accuracy is rated to ±0.5% of full-scale reading — exceeding the EN12645:2014 standard. The unit is configured for 4 hoses and is suited to 4 x car, 4 x van and 1 x truck tyre applications simultaneously. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C; storage range is -40°C to 70°C. Cabinet dimensions are: height 1,029 mm, width 535 mm, depth 647 mm; weight is 50–70 kg depending on model.
