The PCL N72SAIC24 NEXUS N72 is a portable, battery-powered nitrogen generation and inflation cart delivering a flow rate of 5 m³/h (83 l/min) at 10 bar, with a maximum inflation set pressure of 145 psi / 10 bar / 999 kPa. It is designed for all types of tyre shop and industrial tyre applications, supporting four car tyre positions simultaneously. The NEXUS N72 supersedes the original NEXUS range and incorporates PCL's digital pressure control technology with membrane nitrogen generation. Inflation accuracy is stated at +/- 0.5% of full scale reading, which PCL confirm exceeds EN12645:2014. Operating sound level is 65 dBa. The unit is powered by a rechargeable 12V battery drawing 7 amps and recharges from mains power at either 110V or 230V, offering genuine flexibility across different workshop environments. The self-contained cabinet measures 1,029 mm (H) x 535 mm (W) x 647 mm (D) and weighs between 50 and 70 kg depending on model configuration. The minimum required input is 8 cfm (226 l/min) and nitrogen conversion is achieved by a 2 x 10% purge and fill cycle. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C, with a storage range of -40°C to 70°C. PCL state the unit is just half the size of comparable units.
