The Sealey RE2281 Coil Spring Compressor is purpose-designed for wishbone suspension, accessing the spring via access points in the rear suspension arm with a compact design that works in restricted areas. With a 1000kg capacity and a jaw opening of 30-245mm, it handles coil springs from 60-170mm in diameter. Two pairs of specially shaped yokes prevent the spring from bowing under compression, and a drive extension is included for use where space is tight. The kit includes four yokes, a force screw, a 23-19mm drive extension, a 19mm combination ratchet spanner, and an 8mm T-handle hex key, all supplied in a storage case for convenience and safe keeping. Drive sizes are 20mm and 23mm hex.
