Fitting or replacing ear-type hose clips on fuel, cooling system and vacuum hoses demands a dedicated tool standard pliers simply don't provide the control or leverage needed to close the clip cleanly without damaging it. The Sealey VS1635 Heavy-Duty CVJ Boot/Hose Clip Pliers are purpose-built for the job. The steel jaws are designed specifically for ear-type clips, while the formed handles deliver extra comfort during extended use. At 235mm in length, they provide the reach and leverage required for awkward underbonnet locations. As well as hose clips, these pliers are equally suited to securing CVJ boot clips, making them a versatile addition to any workshop.
