Fitting or removing ear-type CVJ boot clips without the right tool risks damaged clips, misaligned boots, and costly drivetrain repairs. The Sealey VS1639 Extra-Heavy-Duty Ear-Type Clip Pliers are purpose-built for the job, suitable for all ear-type CVJ boot clips and designed to handle the demands of professional workshop use. At 240mm in length, the pliers deliver excellent leverage, while the steel jaws ensure a secure, reliable grip on the clip. PVC-coated handles provide added comfort during use. A standout feature is the 1/2" square drive socket built into each handle, allowing the pliers to be used with a torque wrench or breaker bar where a vehicle manufacturer specifies exact band tensions ensuring compliance with OEM requirements. Backed by Sealey's lifetime guarantee.
