Open-frame petrol generators are a practical solution where mains power is unavailable or impractical on site, in the workshop, or on the factory floor. The Draper 87059 Expert Petrol Generator delivers a rated AC output of 2,000W (2.2kVA) and a maximum AC output of 2,200W (2.75kVA), driven by a 196cc forced air cooled four-cycle OHV engine producing 6.5HP with recoil start. The engine is compatible with E5 and E10 petrol and features an engine low oil shutdown for protection against running dry. The generator is housed in a heavy-duty steel tubular frame fitted with oil and fuel resistant anti-vibration mounts, reducing transmitted vibration during extended use. The 3.6-litre fuel tank supports a continuous run time of 4.2 hours at 75% load. Oil capacity is 0.6 litres; SAE 10W-40 oil is recommended and is available separately. Three socket outputs are provided: one 110V 16A, one 230V 16A, and one 12V DC, giving dual voltage AC capability alongside a DC charging outlet. Noise output is rated at 95dB(A) at 4 metres. Overall dimensions are 640mm (L) x 450mm (W) x 470mm (H) and net weight is 35.5kg.Supplied complete with a spark plug spanner, screwdriver, four combination spanners, and a 12V charging lead, giving the operator the basic toolkit needed for immediate commissioning and routine maintenance.
